The club welcomes new senior members who want to get involved. Training sessions are fun but challenging and tailored for different levels of swimming ability.

Seniors are  encorouged to participate in sport which can be pool or ocean based. Seniors can also work towards becoming part of the flood rescue unit

Avaliable to seniors are awards recognised in the aquatic industry that can lead to employment. The following are:

SLSGB / ILS Beach Lifeguard Award

SLSGB Surf Lifeguard

SLSGB Inland Lifeguard

SLSGB First Responder/ First Aid

SLSGB Aquatic First Aid

SLSGB Rescue Boat Award

SLSGB Inland Safety Water Awareness 

Seniors can pursue lifesaving and lifeguard training, volunteer for aquatic rescue patrols; compete in regional and national team events; or just train to keep fit.

Senior Sunday Session Times

7.00pm to 8.00pm:

Seniors train together for one hour each Sunday evening in Pershore to develop their skills, speed and stamina and to prepare for  awards and competitions.

In addition they can join in regular summer training sessions at Sankey Marina and may have the opportunity to gain “beach lifeguard” qualifications over weekend trips to UK beaches.
